Norwich City have confirmed the departure of Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara to Turkish giants Galatasaray for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old playmaker joined the Canaries from São Paulo in 2022 and quickly established himself as a fan favourite.

His impressive performances earned him the club’s Player of the Season award in his debut campaign and a place in the Championship Team of the Season last term.
Sara made a total of 96 appearances for Norwich, scoring 21 goals and providing 17 assists.
The move is expected to generate a significant transfer fee for Norwich, with reports suggesting a deal worth around £23 million, plus add-ons.
Sara has travelled to Turkey to complete his move to Galatasaray, the Turkish giants shared photographs of the midfielder wearing the shirt of his new club.
The midfielder has undergone a medical and now put pen to paper on his new deal.
Sara will be registered as a Galatasaray player and eligible to play in the next game for the Lions.
The Canaries will now look to reinvest the funds to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Championship campaign.
