“Not fit to wear the armband” – Furious Liverpool fans take to social media as reports state Emre Can agrees Juventus move

Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can has been closely linked with a move to Seire A champions Juventus.

According to Italian agent Federico Pastorello, Can has already agreed to a deal with the Italian giants and will join Juve for free in the summer.

“Emre Can is a huge coup, even more so because he’ll arrive on a free,” Pastorello told reporters.

“Juventus attract champions, and important signals are coming from the German.”

The 24-year-old is free to leave at the end of the season after failing to pen a contract extension with Liverpool.

Liverpool fans took to social media after the news dropped and they are not pleased. Several fans even went as far to say he should be stripped of the captaincy.

Despite the ongoing contract saga, Emre Can has managed to keep his place in Jurgen Klopp’s starting eleven. Ther Germany international was also named as captain in Jordan Henderson’s absence.

Liverpool are back in action this weekend when they take on Southampton in the Premier League.
