Galatasaray target Dedryck Boyata received a hostile reception from Celtic fans on Saturday.
Celtic supporters held a large banner which read “not fit to wear the jersey” and whistled the defender when he touched the ball.
However, Boyata responded to the supports hostilities by scoring the games only goal during a 1-0 win over Hamilton.
Galatasaray have been closely linked with a move for Boyata over the past week.
Turkish-Football recently reported that the Lions are preparing a bid for the former Man City star.
Galatasaray officials have identified Boyata as a top transfer target following the departure of Jason Denayer over the summer.
It is unclear whether Celtic are still willing to sell Boyata seeing that he was included in Brendan Rodgers side over the weekend.
The Scotish champions run the risk of losing Boyata for free next summer if they don’t sell the 27-year–old this summer.
Celtic are back in action next weekend when they take on their bitter rivals Glasgow Rangers.
