“Not too pretty” – Man City star issues response to Newcastle United results
Manchester City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has issued a response to his sides 1-0 victory over Newcastle United last night.
The Germany international was included in Pep Guardiola’s starting eleven and played the fill 90 minutes.
Gundogan praised his teammates ‘fight’ but admitted it wasn’t a vintage Man City performance.
The former Borussia Dortmund star shared a photo from Wednesday night’s game and included the following caption, “Not too pretty, but sooo valuable! We had to fight in the final phase of the game, but we take home three points from Newcastle!.”
