The Turkish club are reportedly planning to build their team around Yılmaz and are unwilling to sell him in the January transfer window.

Forest had previously shown interest in Yılmaz during the summer transfer window but were unsuccessful in their attempts to sign him.

While manager Nuno Espírito Santo has indicated that the club may not be overly active in the January transfer window, strengthening the attacking options remains a priority.

The Premier League side are expected to make a new offer for the Turkish international.

The Lions want to keep Yilmaz on until the end of the season and have offered the forward a new deal but the prospect of Premier League football could prove tempting.

With Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi prone to injuries, the addition of a versatile forward like Yılmaz would provide valuable depth and competition for places in the squad.

Yilmaz has nine goals and one assist in 26 appearances in all competitions this season.
