Borussia Dortmund drew Livepool today in the Europa League quarter-final draw today at the UEFA headquarters.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is of course no stranger to Borussia Dortmund while Nuri Sahin is no stranger to the Reds.
The Turkish midfielder parted ways with Klopp during his time managing Dortmund to join Real Madrid and then Liverpool on-loan in the summer of 2012.
The deal sparked a lot of excitement but Sahin struggled to settle in and did not get on with Brendan Rodgers.
Sahin returned to Dortmund at the end of the season to be reunited with Klopp and has been at the Bundesliga giants since.
Klopp was responsible for first unearthing Sahin and is reported to be a keen admirer of the Turkish international.
There was even been talk of another Klopp-Sahin reunion this time at Anfield following the appointment of the German manager at Liverpool.
Sahin missed most of the season out injured but has since made a full recovery and has racked up five appearances.
