Welbeck has found himself on the periphery of Unai Emery’s squad this season and has played just 147 minutes of Premier League football. The 27-year-old has a little under eight months remaining on his contract with the north London based club.
Ozil was rested for the midweek Europa League clash after playing the full 90 minutes against Liverpool last weekend. Arsenal has booked their spot in the last 32 of the Europa League following their 0-0 draw with Sporting Lisbon.
The former Germany international is likely to feature for Arsenal on Sunday when they host Wolves at the Emirates Stadium.
Ozil has been in impressive form for Arsenal so far this season with three goals and an assist in nine Premier League games.
Arsenal has been in good form ever since their back to back defeats at the beginning of the season. The Gunners are now unbeaten in a total of 15 games.
