Liverpool’s young striker Samed Yeşil has taken to Instagram to express his delight at picking up an ‘important’ three points with his loan team Luzern on Wednesday night. Yeşil played 45 minutes in Luzern’s 2-1 victory over Vaduz in the Swiss Super League.
The Germany U21 international posted an image of himself during the game against Vaduz along with the caption, “Important 3 points.”
Luzern were behind going into the break but turned the game around after Yesil came on in the 46th minute in place of Jahmir Hyka.
Marcus Bable’s side sit in forth place in the league with 15 points in eight games. Luzern take on Sion next weekend.
Yeşil joined Liverpool from the Bundesliga side Bayern Leverkusen 2012 for £1 million.
The Liverpool Echo states that the Merseyside club have decided to send the 21-year-old out to aid his development.
The young striker has featured for all of Germany’s youth teams from Under-16 to U19 and he is available also to play for the Turkish national team.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man scored three goals in his last two appearances for Liverpool U21’s during pre-season.
