Fenerbahçe winger Lazar Markovic picked up an injury during the 1-0 win over Osmanlıspor in Ankara today.
Markovic had to be taken off on 37 minutes against the Ankara based side but the severity of his injury is not yet known.
The 21-year-old only recently recovered from an injury that saw him ruled out for three weeks over the international break.
The Serbian international joined Fenerbahçe on a one-year loan from Liverpool over the summer transfer window and has already established himself as a first team regular.
Fenerbahçe beat Osmanlıspor to close the gap with league leaders Beşiktaş to just one point but the Black Eagles could extend their lead at the top of the table to four points with a win tomorrow.
There were rumours that Markovic could be returning to Liverpool over the winter break but sources close to Fenerbahçe told Turkish-Football.com that he will be staying at the club until the end of the season.
