Everton star winger Henry Onyekuru has confirmed that he has received interest from the La Liga giants Valencia.

Onyekuru joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Everton earlier this month. The Lions do not have an option to sign the Nigeria international included in the deal.

Despite joining a little under a fortnight ago, Galatasaray faces the possibility of losing the 21-year-old. We recently reported that Galatasaray wanted assurances from Everton that they won’t terminate the loan deal.

According to Fotomac, Onyekuru has confirmed an approach by Valencia.

Per the source, while Onyekuru is open to a move to Valencia he doubts the deal will be able to happen while he is at Galatasaray.

Galatasaray fans will be hoping the young winger sticks around after he scored on his debut.

Onyekuru will participate in the UEFA Champions League with Galatasaray if he remains with the Istanbul giants.
