‘Out of the title race in October’ – Liverpool fans rage after Man United draw and slam star midfielder
Liverpool held Manchester United to a goalless draw at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday 14 October.
The Reds are now on a eight game winless run and have dropped into eight place in the league game.
Midfielder of Turkish origin Emre Can started for Liverpool but along with the rest of his teammates did not put on a particularly memorable display.
The Reds fans do not appear to be in the best of spirits right now if their reaction to the United result was anything to go by.

The small, small steps quote did not go down well at all with the fans. In fact it sparked a social media storm.
Small step? Out of the title race in October!!

A draw. At home. 0 goals scored. 1 point out of 3. 8th game without a win. Let’s not be modest. Life is great right now!

Quite a few supporters were not too impressed with Can’s performance either. The 23-year-old has come under fire from sections of the fanbase and pundits over recent weeks.
Emre Can has become a weakness for us. Too sluggish and poor passing. #LFC

If Henderson played as bad as Emre Can did today imagine the hate he’d of got, Can was shite today. Lovren and Salah man of the match for me

Love when Emre Can just gets fed up and runs away from everybody

There were also calls for Can to sign a new contract. He has under 12 months left on his current deal now and will be able to enter direct talks with other clubs in January.
He’s a small step away from leaving
