Besiktas star Oguzhan Ozyakup has been linked with numerous clubs across Europe but club president Fikret Orman only sees the midfielder joining a top club such as Chelsea.
Orman said speaking on TRT: “Last season, Lazio made an approach for Oguzhan,” Orman began, “but I didn’t want him to go there.
“If Oguzhan goes to Europe, it should be to a team of the calibre of Chelsea.”
The Besiktas president recently revealed that there have been offers made for Ozyakup but that the club would not accept any bid under €20 million.
Ozyakup has had a brilliant season playing a key role in winning the league title – his first – with 10 goals and eight assists in all competitions this season.
The Turkish international midfielder does of course have experience playing in England. Ozyakup rose through the youth ranks at Arsenal before joining Besiktas for €500,000 in 2012 in search of first team football.
