Goran Pandev’s agent denies Fiorentina offer [divider]
Fiorentina have not made a bid for Galatasaray forward Goran Pandev according to his agent Carlo Pallavicino.
“There has been no talks between Galatasaray and Fiorentina,” Pandev said.
“Pandev has no intention of moving to Florence, he is happy in Turkey.
“I repeat, there has been no talks between the two clubs.
“Pandev is happy at Istanbul and enjoys playing for his team.”
The 31-year-old forward had been linked with a move to Fiorentina in the Turkish press.
Pandev joined Galatasaray from Napoli this summer on a one-year deal worth €2.4 million.
The Macadonian international will receive €2.1 for the 2015-16 season if his contract is extended.
Pandev moved to Napoli from Inter in 2011 and scored seven goals and provided seven assists in his 29 Serie A appearances last season.
Pandev has struggled to settle in at Galatasaray and his performances have been criticised by sections of the Turkish press and Galatasaray fans.
The 31-year-old is yet to score in 5 appearances in all competitions this season.
