Philippe Coutinho and Emre Can have been rated by Liverpool fans as the players of the 2015-16 season.
The Liverpool Echo newspaper rates the Red’s players performances on a weekly bases. The daily paper have given Can and Coutinho a rating of 7.6 for the season.
Can played a staring role in Liverpool’s Europa league run which saw them make it to the final against Sevilla.
The former bayer Leverkusen man made a miraculous recovery from an ankle injury to star in the semi-finals where he was named man of the match.
Can has been included in the Germany squad which will travel to France for Euro 2016 this summer.
Germany took on Slovakia yesterday in an international friendly and were surprisingly defeated 3-1. Can was included in the match-day team but started on the bench however, the midfielder failed to make an appearance over the course of the 90 minutes.
The 22-year-old has featured predominantly as a full-back for Germany under the stewardship of Joachim Low and it remains to be seen whether he will be played as a midfielder in Euro 2016.
