The 19-year-old is already the highest scoring Turkish international in the history of the Eredivisie with 13 league goals.
Unal has his eye on playing Premier League football next season and has been working on his English in case he does return to City following the end up his loan.
The young striker showed off his shooting technique on Instagram following the victory over Roda alongside the caption: “Get in.”
Unal has been called up to the Turkish national team setup by head coach Fatih Terim and is expected to feature against Finland on 24 March at the Antalya Arena.
The City youngster has started once for Turkey and has three caps in total. Unal will have to ensure he becomes a regular call-up to the national team setup if he wants to be granted a work permit to play in England.
