Dogru informed Turkish-Football on Monday that the initial transfer fee was £18.3m [€20.5m] and could rise to £20m [€22.5m] with bonuses.
The transfer was subject to Soyuncu’s work permit being approved.
Twenty-five percent of the transfer fee will be paid to Altinordu who had a sell-on clause deal with the Bundesliga outfit from his transfer in 2016.
Leicester manager Claude Puel confirmed that the 22-year-old will join the team tonight but will not feature against Wolves at the King Power Stadium.
Puel said: “He is a Leicester player. We are happy and wish him a good welcome. He will arrive tonight. He will not be fit for this game. After a little injury, he will come back into training.”
