Photo: £28m Leicester City Star Arrives In Turkey Ahead Of Completing Move To Super Lig Giants

Leicester City star Islam Slimani arrived in Istanbul, Turkey last night ahead of completing his loan move to Fenerbahce.

Slimani’s wife Yousra had hinted that the Algeria international was bound for a trip to Turkey shortly beforehand.

Slimani received the traditional Turkish airport welcoming party from the Fenerbahce fans after arriving.

Sources close to Fenerbahce have informed Turkish-Football that the 30-year-old is expected to undergo a medical and complete his temporary move to the Super Lig giants.

Slimani would be the second player from the English leagues to join Fenerbahce on a loan move this summer, with Andre Ayew arriving from Swansea City last month.

The forward the Foxes record signing after joining for £28 million from Sporting Lisbon back in 2016 but struggled to make an impact.

Fenerbahce kick-off their league campaign against Bursaspor tonight at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
