(Photo) Arsenal contract rebel Mesut Ozil reacts to win over Sydney Wanderers
Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to celebrate his side’s victory over the Western Sydney Wanderers.
The Gunners recorded a 3-1 win over the Sydney based club in their last pre-season game in Australia this summer.
Ozil currently has under 12 months remaining on his contract with Arsenal however, the 28-year-old has stated that he wants to remain at the north London based club.
“It is definitely my preference to stay,” Ozil was quoted as saying by the Guardian.
Ozil shared a photo of himself on social media and included the following caption, “Last match of #ArsenalinSydney. 3-1 win #preseason #COYG @Arsenal.”
