Arsenal photographer Stuart MacFarlane‏ has taken to social media following news of Mesut Ozil’s contract extension.

The 29-year-old put pen to paper on a three and a half years deal which will keep him at Arsenal until July 2021.

MacFarlane‏ posted a photo of Ozil holding a camera on social media and included the following caption, “The news we’ve been waiting for. Arsenal Photographers Assistant signs new long term contract. Me and @priceyd101 couldn’t be happier. King of Assists”

Ozil is expected to be back in action for the Gunners when they host Everton at the Emirates on Saturday evening.
