Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to wish his former teammate and friend Jerome Boateng a happy birthday.
The Germany international who has made 73 appearances for his country turned 29-years-old today.
Ozil shared a photo of himself posing alongside Boateng and included the following caption, “happy birthday bro.”
Boateng has been included in Joachim Low’s 23-man squad for their games against Peru and France.
Ozil retired from international football citing discrimination and racisim following a turbulent summer.
