Mesut Ozil can do no wrong at the moment. Just a few days after putting on a Man of the Match display against AC Milan on Thursday, providing two assists in the 2-0 Europa League victory he then went onto assist the opening goal in the 3-0 victory over Watford on Sunday.
The playmaker also ended up becoming the first Premier League player to reach 50 assists in 141 games against the Hornets.
The goal Ozil setup was also Arsenal’s 1000th home goal.
The icing on the cake was Ozil revealing he had made a good woman of his fiance, former Miss World Turkey 2014 Amine Gulse. He had, of course, converted her into becoming a Gooner.
The 29-year-old was so chuffed he shared the moment on his Instagram stories and called her a ‘True Gooner’.
