Arsenal Team News

Arsenal snapped a four game losing streak last Thursday after beating AC Milan 2-0 in the Europa League Last 16 first-leg clash.

The Gunners then went onto beat Watford 3-0 at the Emirates in the Premier League on Sunday.

Mesut Ozil put on stellar displays in both games, setting up both goals against the Italian giants and assisting the opener against the Hornets.

The playmaker of Turkish origin now has 50 assists in all competitions since joining the North London outfit.

Ozil shared a tweet with a photograph from the Watford clash alongside a tweet which summed up his message to Arsenal.

The 29-year-old wants the Gunners to ‘keep this up for the rest of what’s left of this season’.

Ozil already has his eye on the next ‘big clash’ against AC Milan on Thursday.

The North London based outfit take on the Italian giants at the Emirates next.

Winning the Europa League currently looks to be the best chance Arsenal have of booking a place in the Champions League next season.

The Gunners are unlikely to close the gap with the top four in the Premier League unless fifth-placed Chelsea and fourth-placed Tottenham have a major dip in form.
