Arsenal star Mesut Ozil starred in the 1-1 draw between Germany and Spain on Friday.
The game was a friendly but it did hold special important to the pupils of Ozil’s former school Berger Feld as part of the Kick Fair campaign.
The movement aims to break down prejudices, talk about shared values, and actively develop game rules for living together at school.
The school boasts an impressive alumni including Manuel Neuer, Julian Draxler, Benedikt Höwedes, Leroy Sané, Max Meyer, Ralf Ferryman, Joel Matip and Sead Kolasinac.
The playmaker of Turkish origin shared a photograph with the pupils from his former school on his official Instagram account.

Ozil will not feature against Brazil on Tuesday after being left out of the squad for the second international game.
