Photo: Arsenal Star Mesut Ozil Makes Fortnite Joke On Social Media, Tells Fans To Get Involved

Mesut Ozil is turning into a bit of a gamer. He made no secret of the fact he enjoyed a game of FIFA from his social media feeds but then he started up an Egaming team and then started streaming himself playing Fortnite on Twitch.

The playmaker of Turkish origin can’t seem to get enough of Fortnite right now.

His latest social media post features a photograph of himself holding his hand over his face while laughing.

He captioned the photo as being ‘that moment when you beat your bro at Fortnite & he starts making excuses.’

Ozil then asked his followers to tag that person who reacts the same.

The 30-year-old drew a mixed response from his followers with some still in shock that he actually plays Fortnite while others were more supportive.

Is Ozil really a Fortnite fan or could there be a commercial edge to his new found fascination? in the era of influencer marketing nothing would surprise me.
