Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil appears to be in high spirits going into the 2018/19 season.
The 29-year-old has endured a turbulent summer following Germany’s early exit from the 2018 World Cup.
Ozil retired from the national team citing racism and discrimination. However, Arsenal boss Unai Emery threw his support behind Ozil and handed him the captaincy during their pre-season friendly against PSG.
The star playmaker scored against the Ligue 1 champions and was seen dancing on the bench with his teammates after being substituted off.
Ozil has followed up by posting a photo oh himself at home with his dog Balboa and included the caption, “Feels good to be back at home.”
