Bayern Munich ace Jerome Boateng has wished Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil a happy birthday over social media.

The 30-year-old interesting opted to also upload a photo of himself alongside Ozil wearing a World Cup winners medal from 2014.

Ozil recently quit the Germany national team citing racism and discrimination. The former Real Madrid man turned 30 today and has returned to full training after missing the Gunners last game with a back spasm.

Boateng included the following caption alongside the photo: “Happy 30th birthday Mesut Abi.”
