Arsenal headed into the Europa League Last 16 first-leg clash against AC Milan at the San Siro stadium having lost their last four games.
The Gunners did however, silence their critics beating the Italian giants 2-0 on the road.
Mesut Ozil put on a man of the match display, playing a hand in the opening goal and providing the assist for Aaron Ramsey’s second just before the half-time break.
The playmaker of Turkish origin was chuffed with his sides performance and described it on Twitter after the game as being the ‘best away performance for a long time’.

Winning the Europa League presents Arsenal with perhaps their best chance of booking a place in the Champions League next season.
The North London based outfit are unlikely to finish in the top four in the Premier League.
Arsenal do however, still have to get to the Europa League quarter-final first.
The Gunners will take on AC Milan in the second-leg at the Emirates next Thursday.
