Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo has joined Alanyaspor on a one-year loan a source close to the player told Turkish-football.com.
The Nigerian international was closely linked with a move to Besiktas all summer but newly promoted Alanyaspor swooped in with a late move to clinch the deal.
Omeruo has already had his Alanyaspor medical alongside former Brazil international Vagner Love who has also joined the club.
Omeruo also confirmed yesterday via his official Instagram account that he extended his Chelsea contract.
The 22-year-old had three-years remaining on his previous Chelsea deal but has secured a long-term contract with the Premier League outfit.
Omeruo is no stranger to football in Turkey having played for Istanbul minnows Kasimpasa last season.
The Nigerian international established himself as one of the most promising young defenders in the league last season and settled into life in Istanbul.
Omeruo will be moving from Istanbul to the idyllic Turkish riviera town of Alanya on the Mediterranean coast.
