Manchester City crushed Stoke City by a 7-2 scoreline at the Etihad on Saturday 14 October.
Despite the convincing victory there was a stage where City looked to be on the ropes.
City took a three goal lead before Stoke pulled two back.
Midfielder of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan praised his side for not losing focus after conceding twice.
Gundogan shared a photograph from after the game praising the win but he did not gloss over the fact they had a few never moments as well.
The City star has yet to start a Premier League game this season after returning from a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
