Everton star Cenk Tosun has sent a shoutout to former Besiktas teammate Alvaro Negredo on his birthday.
The Spanish striker who turned 33 on Monday has had a week to remember.
After being linked with a summer exit, Negredo went onto score a last-gasp goal against LASK Linz to rescue Besiktas and take them through the playoff round of the Europa League.
Negredo then scored in the following game on the weekend against Erzurumspor.
Besiktas were tied at the time in the second-half before the Spaniard put his side ahead with a cheeky back-heel.
Tosun sent a tweet out to Negredo wishing him a happy birthday and referring to him as the ‘Matador’ alongside a photograph or both players doing a matador goal celebration.

Tosun and Negredo were teammates before the Turkey international joined Everton in January.
Negredo was signed as a first-choice striker but ended up playing second fiddle to Tosun.
