The 27-year-old did not miss the chance to send a birthday message to Caner Erkin who turned 30 today, referring to the full-back as ‘my lightning’ – lightning being his nickname.

Tosun won back to back league titles at Besiktas and helped them reach the Champions League second round, finishing the group stage as undefeated leaders.
