Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can appears to be in high sprits after returning to first-team football.

The 23-year-old featured for Liverpool over the weekend a little under a week after returning to training. Can was given an extended summer break after helping Germany lift the Confederations Cup last month.

Liverpool fans will be happy to see their star man back in the squad and happy following reports linking Can with a move away from the club.

The Germany international was linked with a move to Juventus in recent weeks. According to the Turkish outlet Sozcu, Juve have set aside €45 million for the 23-year-old. Can’s future at Liverpool is still cast in doubt seeing that he has under 12 months remaining on his contract.
