(Photo) Germany international heaps praise on Man City captain
Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has wished a happy birthday to his club captain Vincent Kompany.
The 26-year-old shred a photo of the pair during training and included the following caption, “A captain who always goes above and beyond for his team. Happy Birthday”

Both Kompany and Gundogan have been struggling with injuries this season.
Gundogan has been sidelined after suffering a knee injury back in December 2016. The Germany international is expected back this summer ahead of the pre-season tour to the USA.
Man City take on Southampton this weekend as they look to record back-to-back wins.
