Despite enjoying a lavish lifestyle at Manchester City, Ilkay Gundogan has not for forgotten about the joys of Turkish food.

The Germany international’s family originate from the city of Balikesir in northwestern Turkey.

Gundogan has his food at home prepared by Private chef Jonny Marsh but appears to have convinced Marsh to throw in a couple kebabs now and again.

The 26-year-old midfielder’s diet plan appears to be working seeing that he has been injury free for nearly 12 months.
