British Olympic hero – and recently knighted – Sir Mo Farah has been spotted at Arsenal’s training ground today in the lead up to the Gunners clash with Preston in the FA Cup.
The dual Olympic champion over 5,000m and 10,000m is a diehard Arsenal fan and put Danny Welbeck through his paces.
Welbeck who has been sidelined with an injury in recent months has been given the green light by manager Arsene Wenger to feature this weekend.
Farah – who is a regular visitor to Arsenal’s London Colney ground – signalled his intention to become part of the club’s fitness staff when his running days are over.
“One day, I’d love to be able to work for them, maybe as a fitness coach,” Farrah was quoted as saying by the Mirror.
“I’m a big believer in what the body’s capable of with proper training.”
