Liverpool given transfer boost as defensive target responds to reports of entering talks with AC Milan in Italy
Fenerbahce star defender Simon Kjaer was closely linked with a move to AC Milan in the Turkish press yesterday.
Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik reported that Kjaer was given the green light from his club to travel to Italy and hold talks with AC Milan.
Kjaer moved quickly to clear up the misunderstanding.
The Denmark international shared a picture on his Instagram account confirming that he is in Rome, Italy but not for transfer talks.
Instead Kjaer revealed that he is in Rome to prepare for his summer wedding.

The news will come as a transfer boost for rival clubs interested in Kjaer.
Turkish-Football recently reported that Liverpool have also been keeping tabs on Kjaer.
The Fanatik newspaper have also reported that the Reds are interested in the experienced defender.
Kjaer does have another two-years remaining on his contract but he has been closely linked with a Fenerbahce exit this summer.
