Besiktas beat Galatasaray 1-0 in the Istanbul derby at the Vodafone Park Stadium on Sunday in the Super Lig.

Liverpool loanee Loris Karius started in goal for the Black Eagles and managed to keep a clean sheet for just the second time this season.

Karius put on an impressive display and had a message for the fans after the game with his post-match tweet.

The 25-year-old shared a photograph celebrating with the team alongside the message: “Istanbul is black and white”

Besiktas’ colors are of course black and white so it probably went down with the home faithful – and not so well with Galatasaray supporters.
