Liverpool loanee Loris Karius is no stranger to bizarre Instagram posts.
There was the infamous ‘ice cream’ incident over the summer which did not go down well with the Reds supporters.
Now this photograph is nowhere near as controversial. It is just a little odd. I have no idea what the purpose was. Perhaps it was a sponsored post? but he does not overtly promote any brands. Maybe he is promoting the pink hat?
And what is the caption about? ‘Seeing things from a different perspective’.
I guess I just do not understand the ‘perspective’.
It is a pretty cool photograph though and maybe Karius is delivering a cryptic message. There are so many variables.
Karius has been in good form of late and kept his second clean sheet of the season in the 1-0 win over Galatasaray in the Istanbul derby last weekend.
The 25-year-old has started every game except two which he missed due to a back problem.
Besiktas have won their last two games, both of which have been away from home.
The Istanbul giants take on Alanyaspor next in the Super Lig, the game will be played on the road.
Besiktas head into the game in 3rd place, having closed the gap with leaders Basaksehir to just six points.
