Football lovers were spoilt over the weekend with three major derby games across Europe in Spain, Italy and Turkey.
The Madrid – Atletico v Real – Milan derby – AC Milan v Inter – and Istanbul derby – Galatasaray v Fenerbahce – all went ahead over the weekend.
Liverpool midfielder Emre Can revealed which derby he tuned into over the weekend on his Instagram account.
Can shared a short clip on his Instagram stories page of the Istanbul derby with the writing ‘Derby Time’ scribbled onto the screen.
The 22-year-old was born in Germany but is an ethnic Turk and maintains close ties with his family in Turkey – although it is unknown which Turkish team he supports.
The Intercontinental derby ended with Fenerbahce beating Galatasaray 2-0 and maintaining their 17 year unbeaten home record against their Istanbul rivals.
