The midfielder of Turkish origin has however, traveled to Portugal with his teammate.
Can even shared a photograph from his Instagram stories page from a training session.
We are not quite sure what the 24-year-old is doing training. Perhaps he is just keeping fit – or maybe someone has not told him he is not playing.
Had Can been fit he probably would have featured.
Can has five goals and four assists in 32 appearances for the Reds in all competitions this season.
