Photo: ‘Blessed’ – Man City Defender Shares Poem After Returning From Hamstring Injury Sooner Than Expected Ahead Of Intercontinental Derby

Manchester City defender on loan at Galatasaray, Jason Denayer, recovered from his hamstring injury sooner than expected.

The Belgium international was expected to miss the rest of the season but has made a speedy return and made a brief appearance in the 2-1 win over Konyaspor last week.

Denayer could end up starting in the Intercontinental Derby at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium against rivals Fenerbahce.

Galatasaray are currently first in the league, six points clear of fourth-placed Fenerbahce but have not beat the Yellow Canaries away since 1999.

Denayer shared a poem in his latest Instagram post thanking God for everything positive in his life. Perhaps he was feeling blessed after returning to action sooner than expected?
