Galatasaray have been closely linked with a move for Manchester City midfielder Fernando.
Lions sporting director Cenk Ergun confirmed being in talks with the Brazilian star.
“Fernando is going to join the camp, we are on the verge of signing a deal,” Ergun was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football on Saturday following Galatasaray’s training session in Austria.
Amid speculation that he could headed for a summer exit, Fernando posted a cryptic message on his Instagram account.

Fernando posted a black background with the words “Last day” in white.
The ‘Octopus’ followed this up with another Instagram photograph of himself with his child in an airport alongside the caption: ‘Together for the new challenge’.
