(Photo) Man City star heaps praise on loyal and caring friend Mesut Ozil
Ilkay Gundogan has heaped praise on Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil.
The pair – who both happen to be of Turkish origin and Germany international’s – appear to be great friends off the field too.
Gundogan uploaded a photo of himself posing alongside Ozil in the Arsenal star’s home.
The 26-year-old praised Ozil’s football ability and stated that he is a loyal and caring friend.
The Germany international shared the photo on his social media page and included the following caption, “The Germans in UK! Always great to hang out with you, my friend! You’re not only great on the pitch, but also great as a loyal and caring friend!”
Gundogan recently returned to first team training following an extended spell on the sidelines due to injury.
The former Dortmund star hasn’t featured for City in any pre-season friendly.
