Manchester City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has taken to social media following Germany’s defeat in the 2018 World Cup.
The reigning champions suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of Mexico on Sunday.
Gundogan was included in Joachim Low’s matchday squad but did not make an appearance off the bench.
Germany take on Sweden in their next World Cup clash and Gundogan took to social media to issue a rallying call.
“Let’s keep pushing forward!” Gunodgan stated on Instagram.

Gundogan has scored four goals in 26 caps for Germany.
