Manchester City were beaten by bitter rivals Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday despite taking an early two-goal lead.
Midfielder of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan scored the second goal which looked set to crown his side champions.
City managed to blow their lead and suffer their second defeat within a week in the process, conceding three goals in both games.
Gundogan issued a rallying call after the game, thanking the 55,000 City fans that made the trip and made them a promise that they will bring home deserved trophies.

The Citizens will have to overcome a 3-0 aggregate score against Liverpool on Tuesday if they hope to stand a chance of bringing the Champions League home.
The Manchester based outfit should however, still be able to lift the Premier League title and take on Tottenham away next weekend.
