Manchester City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan took to social media following his sides 1-1 draw with Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.
The 26-year-old was included in Pep Guardiola’s starting eleven and played the full 90 minutes. Gundogan pulled the strings in midfield but was unable to convert several chances throughout the 90 minutes.
Following the weekend draw and Man United’s win over Huddersfield, the Citizen’s lead at the top of the table has been reduced to 13 points.
Gundogan had a passing accuracy of 93% on the day which included one key pass but was unable to provide an assist for his teammates.
The Germany international opted to post a photo of himself from training keeping his hands warm and included an emoji of a monkey doing the same thing.
