Manchester City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has sent a heartfelt message to the fans following the Citizens Carabao Cup final win.
Pep Guardiola’s side recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory over Arsenal at Wembley on Sunday.
Gundogan played the full 90 minutes and provided the assist for City’s second goal.
Following the game Gundogan shared a photo of himself alongside Vincent Kompany to social media and included the following caption, “What a feeling to lift my first title with this amazing club! It means so much to make our work count!”
“Thanks to the team, thanks to every city fan who made it to the Wembley Stadium – you were fantastic.”
City take on Arsenal again this week in the Premier League as they look to secure the title.
