(Photo) Man City star sends a heartfelt message to New York City FC ‘legend’ Andrea Pirlo
Manchester City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has sent a message to the former Italy international star Andrea Pirlo.
Pirlo announced his retirement last week following a successful career. The 38-year-old has won six Serie A titles, two UEFA Champions Leagues and a World Cup over career spanning 23 years.
Gundogan shared a photo of himself beside Pirlo and included the following caption, “If you haven’t seen this legend play, better book your tickets now! Just heard that Andrea Pirlo is retiring this winter and I doubt that anyone will ever touch the ball like him.”
