Manchester City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has been spotted back in training ahead of the weekend Premier League clash.
The Citizens take a short trip to the city of Liverpool to face Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday. Kick-Off is scheduled for 17:30 (GMT).
Man City shared various scenes from Thursday’s training session on social media. One of the images includes the Germany international Ilkay Gundogan.
The 26-year-old was a doubt for the weekend encounter after featuring during Germany’s 1-0 defeat to Brazil on Tuesday evening. Pep Guardiola may still opt to rest the midfielder with one eye on next week’s UEFA Champions League encounter with Liverpool
