(Photo) Man City star takes to social media to thank friends & family for ‘daily support’
Manchester City star midfielder Ilkay Gundogan took to social media to thank his friends and family for their birthday wishes.
The Germany international – who turned 27 over the weekend – shared a photo of himself posed alongside his friends and included the following caption, “Friends & Family first! Thanks everybody for making my 27th birthday such a wonderful day. Thanks to my besties for always being around me. And most of all: thank YOU guys for your daily support.”

Gundogan made the move to Man City from Borussia Dortmund in 2016 but suffered a long-term knee injury mid-way through the season.
The 27-year-old returned to action last month and played the full 120 minutes during City’s win over Wolves in the League Cup on Tuesday.
City take on West Brom in the Premier League this weekend.
